News 'n' Stuff
Brenner's Brew 2-27

We had a great time at the show, despite the fact that a bomb-scare in the middle of Bridgeton kept the place nearly empty. Skidmark played a helluva set in support of their newly released demo CD (recorded at Lake Studios on Feb. 21st!). Jersey Calling closed the place down with a high-energy set at the end. And then there was us, sandwiched in the middle, and plenty happy to be there. You know, Barbara Brenner was almost apologetic about the turnout, but we were like, PSH, don't worry about it. It's like a free rehearsal when there's no one there. And anyways, it wasn't completely empty like the Blue Room was on the 7th, so no biggie. Erin got some pictures of the show, check out Bret and Justin's new T-shirts, check out Bret's new suspenders, and check out how CLOSE Bret gets to the audience with his new wireless system. All in all, the show was a blast, and we made so me new friends and some new fans. Good times, newdle salad.

Radio Interview: 3-4-04

Bret will be appearing on Rowan Radio this Thursday night at 9:00 PM for an on-air interview and acoustic performance. Justin can't make it, but it should be interesting nonetheless. Hear Bret tell tales of the new album recording sessions, tales from the tour, and acoustic versions of Cyber and Conscientious Objector. Should be fun. If you live in South Jersey, you can tune your FM dial to 89.7. And if you don't, you can still listen on the internet by hitting the WGLS website (you'll need Real Audio). Don't miss it.

March 7, Delaware

The guys will be playing live in Newark, DE, this coming Sunday, at a place called The Ground Floor Grill and Nightclub. It's their first time playing in The First State, and they'll be joined by fellow 401 Records band The Positives. Show starts at 6:00 PM, and it's all-ages. For the under-21 crowd, the cover is $7, and 21+ is $5. Be ready to ROCK if you come to the show.

401 Records Compilation

401 Records, our ever-loving label, is releasing a compilation CD this Spring, and we'll be contributing two songs to it. Also, there's word that The Positives will be covering our song, Loner, for the compilation, and that's pretty damn cool. We couldn't be happier that some band out there actually likes our stuff enough to want to cover it. More info on the compilation to come.

Party

As the weather warms up, it's soon going to be time for basement parties, backyard barbeques, and the like. This July, it looks like we'll be heading to West Milford, NJ, to play a birthday party for a friend of Justin's girlfriend, Becky. I just wanted to remind you all that if you want MtD to play at your party, we'll do so - free of charge. Just supply us with Mountain Dew and Doritos and we'll call it even. I promise you it will be a good time, and you can't beat the price.

Although, I'm sorry but we can't afford to play free shows WAY far away. Like Florida and Ohio. Sorry, OCM and Nick.

If you want us to play at your party, EMAIL ME and we'll set something up (-:
Snippets
Lake Studios, the in-house recording studio of 401 Records, has seen some activity in the past few weeks, recording demos for 401 Records bands Skidmark and and for infonauts.
